Preface to the online edition
We have placed sections of the revised edition of The March
to Victory, a guide to WWII battlefields, monuments, and museums
that figured in the 1944-45 campaign in northwestern Europe, on-line
for several reasons. First, we think that individuals who are
planning a trip to Europe and are interested in the WWII battlefields
will find the information useful. As the battlefields and monuments
that dot them constantly change, we hope that those of you who
use this information will provide us with feed back on the changes
that you discover.
