Kathy Hammel

Kathy, a Godey's collector and victorian fashion enthusiast lives in Los Angeles California with her husband Jim and two sons. I met Kathy through EHP's email list and we have been corresponding for several months. She has kindly provided me with several scans of Godey's plates that are missing from the original 1850 bound volume we are putting online this year. She has been one of EHP's Godey's Lady's Book Online biggests fans and her encouraging words never fail to pick up our spirts. Kathy has started writing about victorian fashions again after a layoff of several years. Dressing Baby 1850s Style is the first part of a triology she has planned and with some encouraging words from you the reader we can get her to start on part two.
