Permittees must develop and implement a storm water pollution prevention plan. This plan should consists of at least five different phases: Planning and Organization, Assessment, BMP (Best Management Practices) Identification, Implementation, and Evaluation/Monitoring.
Note: Many permittees need to comply with additional requirements, such as salt pile or coal pile storage. Be sure to contact your state environmental office for a full list of requirements.
