The Green Cone Digestor/Composter is made out of polyethylene plastic. The outer green cone is translucent, allowing the sun's rays to penetrate to the inner black cone, which traps the heat within the system. The inner cone and the below ground digestion basket are made from 100% recycled plastics. The cone section of the system stands approximately 2 feet above ground, while the basket sits approximately 1.5 feet below ground. Alternatively, the basket may be placed in a suitable box, if digging a hole of this size is undesirable or not feasible. A lockable lid is included to seal heat inside, and to deter any animals that may try to open the Green Cone.
