It will be seen from it that the balance of trade is against us to a small amount. the total value of imports for the
year, ending June 20, 1845, is             $119,512,606
The total value of exports for the
year, ending June 30, 1845, is              107,891,622

The total exports of specie for the
year, ending June 30, 1845, is               $8,477,651
The total imports of specie for the
year, ending June 30, 1845, is                3,952,233
