NEW ORLEANS. - The Picayune of the 13th says there is
no sickness, no excitement, and little of anything moving;-
even the town clock and the doctors' gigs are at a stand-
still. It appears from more recent dates, however, that
there is no want of excitement,-on the Texas var-subject at
least.
